My universe is On Caelum. On it I have three main headwords, called Zarvllard, Atalant and Vertto. They are the stage for my characters and their lore.

Zarvlllard

Zarvllard is where Hannes and Alethea lore happens, as also for other characters around them. This world passed through periods which delayed it's development, one of them being called "the great flood" in which is know for the species that lived before succumbed to.The Alnari, have been on the planet for a long time, they emerged from magma veins in the planet milenniums ago after the great flood eneded. An species which can not only control fire but also gold, this one being their aesthetic brand, along with precious gems for some. They are the favorite children of Zarvllard.The Alnari are now living their last days on the planet, the offspring survivors of 5 families can't reproduce, and the only adult older Alnari from ancient times find their selves lost to slumber or instability. The offspring have depleted their options trying to keep the species in the planet, and are living their lives, with a few still trying to find a solution.

Hannes is the eldest son of Seprina and Ashounidas, who are some of the first Alnari to appear in the world. After multiple losses in his personal life to magic, Hannes has decided to stop helping his species and is now enjoying his life the best he can. A master in archaeology with strong thesis about the species who lived in the world before many of the ones today, and also a master in throwing parties to choke his grief, sins and sadness. He's doing his best one day at the time. He lost both his wife and father to the war, and his younger brother is not in good terms with him.

An stubborn and obstinate soul. Alethea is a former soldier, survivor of a recent war where an entire country suffered a nuclear attack. She was on her day off the day it happened and this is something she does not forgive herself from.
With the intent of fixing many broken things in the world, find the few ones left responsible for the nuke, and maybe even help the Alnari and others, she proposes Hannes a magical deal, which may even harm her in the process, but is a price she's willing to pay to help a nation she was supposed to be of service.
